Casey is our certified wheel builder.  He is also a Civil Engineer and life long cyclist.  His early years were spent racing criteriums, but as a Category 3 racer realized his profession lay elsewhere. So in 1981 Casey enrolled in the College of Engineering at the University of Utah while continuing to race with the likes of Marty Jemison, Martin Stenger and Steve Johnson. With his engineering career winding down and retirement on the horizon, Casey founded KB Wheels with his wife Allyson in 2014, and began building and servicing road and mountain wheels. Casey’s background as a racer and engineer puts him in a unique position to produce the best handbuilt wheels possible.  Our wheels will stand up to any in the industry and can be found from California to New York to Japan, and everywhere in between. We would love the opportunity to hand build you the best set of wheels you have ever ridden.
